Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships

The Mountain Homeless Coalition (MHC) is sponsoring a four week one hour class on “Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships.” The Class will be led by a specialist from D.O.V.E.S. (Domestic Violence Education Services). The classes would include the dynamics of healthy vs unhealthy relationships, warning signs, the truths and facts about domestic violence and the difficult and painful reasons for staying in abusive relationships. The classes are open to everyone. The results of the classes will provide information to all members of our community regarding the causes and consequences of domestic violence. The classes provide an understanding in our community that the abuse of power by any of its members weakens all of its members. Mountain Homeless Coalition and D.O.V.E.S. work in collaboration and partnership with other community organizations and institutions to gain a commitment from all community members to practice peace, respect and tolerance in all relationships. The class is on 4 Tuesdays starting May 1 st at 10 – 11 am at Lake Gregory Education Center, 24740 San Moritz Way. Crestline, CA 92325. San Moritz Way is open to traffic to the school. The class is free but pre-registration is needed by calling (909) 713-4099 or email mountainhomelesscoalition@gmail.com. For further information call MHC President Joyce Garrison at 909 867-2346.
